Cazalys Cairns
Family dining at Cazalys is enjoyable, easy and entertaining. It’s the place to be for your family!
Cazalys offers daily meal deals and have a dedicated kid’s menu (where meals cost only $8.50 and include an ice cream or jelly dessert) through Barassis Restaurant. Barrassis is open seven days a week from 9.00am – 9.00pm. Cazalys also have a Sports Bar available. They provide a relaxing, comfortable environment to eat delicious food and have a good time. Social activities are offered in the kid’s club including a playground, Play Stations and more, so you can dine for as long as you want while the kids stay busy.
South Cairns Sports Club
The perfect place for contemporary casual dining; relax, eat and be entertained on the south side for an affordable price. With so many options there is something for everybody! The Kid’s club house boasts a great playground and area for the kids to play. Sirens Restaurant offers great meal variety – even for diners with dietary concerns. The Restaurant is open 11.30am – 5.00pm for lunch and 5.00pm – 9.00pm dinner, seven days a week. Plus, adults can also enjoy the coffee shop or Sports Bar.
Coco’s Kitchen + Bar, Pullman Cairns International
Coco’s Kitchen + Bar offers one of the best, most exciting foodie outings in Cairns, with a fresh and local menu inspired by the sea. The menu is full of variety which is bound to please even the fussiest diner, big or small, ranging from lunch and dinner to High Tea and Breakfast A La Carte options.

Trinity Beach Sports Club
Trinity Beach Sports Club has delicious food, friendly service and a local feel. Their menu includes all of the favourites, including a tasty kid’s menu, and they are open seven days a week. Lunch is from 12.00pm – 2.00pm weekdays/4.00pm weekends, and dinner from 6.000pm – 8.30pm. The young ones can have loads of fun before and after their meals in the Kids Club House, which has an air-conditioned indoor play area and undercover outdoor area.
This is the perfect place for a comfortable dining experience with the family, with both indoor and patio seating available overlooking the club’s oval. Enjoy value meals, kid’s fun and live music during the week.
Thirsty Flamingo Poolside Bar & Dining (Cairns Colonial Club)
Put your thongs on and get the togs ready for a great dining and relaxation experience. A pool and playground are available at Thirsty Flamingo for the kids while the sports bar and cocktails can be enjoyed by mum and dad. Not to mention the interactive toddlers’ play area and a new playground for non-stop entertainment. Throw in delicious food and you have fun for the entire family!
Thirsty Flamingo is open from 6.30am daily, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner.
King Reef Resort
This restaurant puts a twist on dining with a view as they are situated right on the beautiful Kurrimine Beach! They have a full kid’s menu with all the favourites along with an enclosed toddler’s play area and large outdoor grassy play area. The whole family can get cosy and enjoy a delicious meal either inside or outside with a gentle ocean breeze.
They are currently open for dinner from 11.00am – 8.00pm on Wednesdays to Sundays.
Brothers League Club
Open from 11.00am until late, the Lanterns Food Court has a great café and bistro menu that changes daily. They offer a variety of small meals and snacks at the cafe right through to mouth-watering bistro mains options and more – including tasty kid’s meals that they’re sure to love!
The family can enjoy entertainment such as Game Shows while kids will love the variety of play and craft activities available in the Kids Room (open from 6.00pm – 9.00pm, seven days a week). Child sized restroom facilities are also available.
Red Beret Hotel
Looking for affordable dining in Redlynch with a comfortable environment and entertainment? Families can enjoy the huge variety of food options at the Red Beret Hotel, with delicious entrees, burgers, mains, steaks and salads, schnitzels, and so much more including a special Seniors and Kids menu. They also have great weekly deals and $15.00 lunch specials available on weekdays.
Toddlers can have a ball in the Toddler Room complete with an indoor playground, while older children will never get bored in the fun Kids Room as plenty of games are available (including Xbox!).
