Cairns Regional Council have a coronavirus hotline for anyone looking for information, advice and support regarding Covid-19 in Cairns. Residents can call the Cairns Local Coronavirus Hotline on 1300 396 102, between 8am and 5pm, seven days a week.
The hotline operates from the Cairns Disaster Coordination Centre and is run by the Incident Management Team. This is so callers will be able to speak to local professionals. In addition, people needing support in their own language can access the Hotline via the Translating and Interpreting Services (TIS). Residents with any complex communication needs can access the Hotline via the National Relay Service.
This hotline is for coronavirus related questions. The Council’s customer service number is 1300 69 22 47 which can still be used for Council enquiries, such as paying bills, requests for services and reporting lost pets.
Do not rely on social media for your information as it can sometimes be incorrect. Keep yourself informed with official, accurate and reliable information.
